It's a big draw on the motor when it kicks in... A big cam or high timing may not be able to handle the load... i.e. if it kicks in in the middle of a big loping cam, thats when the motor is at it's least hp, unable to take up the load of the compressor kicking in... Throttle body probably doesnt have anything to do with it, the map might if you don't have a tune on it... Guessing a gasket has nothing to do with nothing except for an excuse and a reason to charge you more money...

my guess is the problem is somehow with the computer not compensating for the air being on. or it cannot compensate for the air being on. have you replaced the idle air motor? when i first got my air back on my car it did that for the first day then it went away. the computer had to learn to run with the air then everything was fine. if it is stalling when the air comes on it would be because the computer cannot keep the rpms where they should be. it should be able to sense the low or poor idle and compensate for it with the idle air control. i doubt that helps because it sounds like you have tried everything. hope you fix it.

I would think so about the gasket and charging more money also but he told me he would email info on thecorrect one and I could change it myself after he got the size and brand of my throttle body and what intake I had.

I have tried everything. Some has that link to the external site that has that idle fix sequence. I have done it all. It has gotten better. It use to die with the A/C off. It has not die with the A/C off since I got it back. Today it seemed to be running better with the A/C off. I was not running it on high and it did not die all day. I had to turn the A/C off to start the car and then once I got is started it ran great all day.
