Default yet another typhoon intake question

okay, so im looking at a typhoon intake, i know i have to atleast gasket port it when i get it due to poor casting. i was reading an article on how to do that and it said that the throttle body inlet would need to be ported too, now my question is if i were to port it out and whil doing so if i ground it out simmiliar to those tb spacers with the vortex set up (sopposedly helps fuel mixture) would i see any power gains or should i just grind it out to the full 70 mm.

Also is there a diff from one tb to another or will a cheap one suffice on a relativley stock car...?

thanks as always for the help

o yea turned 100,000 on the stang the other day, kinda cool looking down and seeing it so low, its almost like new....

I opened up (portmatched) the runners on mine. didnt have to touch the t/b side though, itll match right up to the 70mm. it aint a bad intake, but I did spend about $80 at the machine shop. Itll be for sale in march for about $300, Im gonna redo the whole top end Ive already got another cam sitting under my bed. Ill get an Ohio trip pretty soon so Ill pick up a track heat intake at the summit store in ohio. then Ill buy my heads.
