mine has 94K on it. when i pulled the heads off to put my afr's on, the walls looked brand new. couldnt even tell the engine had been ran before
Was there any build-up on the pistons? I want to know what to expect when I pull my POS E7's off...

I'm with all these guys... mine has 133K on it, and it still runs great. You just have to take care of them - mine responds well to that

oh i forgot to say, i just bought an 87 gt. its got over 200k on original motor/bottom end. runs fine, daily driver.

A friend of mine has a 5.0 with 174xxx miles on the engine. heads intake cam and a blower on this thing and its never been rebuilt. Higher milege 5.0's seem to need thicker oil, he even uses lucus oil stabilizer. Other than that there are no signs of the engine being worn at all.
