Vents won't work after heater core replacement.

Vents won't work after heater core replacement.
I just replaced the heater core in my buddie's car and now his vents won't blow any air. I have checked all the vacuum lines behind the glovebox going into the vacuum block and they seem fine. All the lines behind the HVAC controls all seem there as well. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get the vents working, because I know that they worked yesterday. Any help is greatly appreciated!

if your control unit is hooked up fine i can almost quarantee you its the vaccume lines they are plastic and tend to snap really easy, especially if you replaced the heater core, check it out better and trace that vaccume line from the tree all the way or just replace the whole thing with a rubber hose.

listen for a hiss under the dash there is a small hard plastic line that is black that goes through the fire wall to the heater box/control head = source vaccum for cotrol functions.....check for any pinches or kinks that may of occured while installing it...
