Whered you mount your MSD box....
 

I just got my 85 GT and the msd box is mounted too close to the headers and is getting hot. I want to relocate the box, but im not sure where to put it. Where has everyone mounted theres? post pics if you have them. Thanks.

Not to thread rob, but what is really the point for the MSD box? Just the rev limiter?

What is your rev limiter at 5.0stanger? I'm at like 5500 and think I should be revving higher than that...

I just have the stock 6200 limiter, I don't have a MSD box. I don't ever really run mine past 5500 rpms and I shift at 4900.

Hotter/stronger spark. Especially for a boosted application.

I went through 3 of those pieces of garbage in my Probe.... like hell am I putting one in my Cobra!

I used the inside of the firewall on the passengers side back when I had one in my car.......

If you have the 6al and havnt used it yet and can return it you will be much happier with the digital 6 plus.
