oil pressure guage
recently bought an 88gt the oil pressure guage will be at normal then suddely drop to the lowest it can go then bounce around what could this be? also what are the advantages of changing over to mass air are?
. the only think you can trust for sure is mechanical guage.

trust me... stock oil press. guages are trash... i highly highly suggest an aftermarket one... im getting one asap...
and mass air... its whatever... why do u want to switch... what are your mods now... and what are ur planed mods?

sounds like a bad ground if your not seeing crap in your oil filter if you cut it open .. if you go with a mechanical oil guage like i have done use the plastic it comes with ive seen to many isses with them. do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store and pick up copper tubing or like i have earls makes nice braided lines for it they come in 3 and 6 foot lengths. but you dont have to worry about it breaking. if you plan on puttint it in the car, ive seen some screwed directoly onto the oil log coming off the block.
