Tech Article on fooling your incoming air temp, can't find it
I read a good article on fooling the incoming air temp so the computer "thinks" the air is cooler. I've searched the tech articles and can't find it anywhere. Can somebody help find it. And has anyone tried this aproach??? thanks.

That's why I was wondering if anybody used the advise in the article. Maybe I have it wrong, it was like titled " A Must Read" and you could get the ECM to think the the incoming air was like 40*, thus CAI. The colder the better the article discribed. ????? New one onme but it sounded good

Yes.... but only for "track duty"...... setting the ACT reading low will screwup the A/F under normal driving conditions (= more fuel consumption), the EEC will follow a permanent "cold start strategy".

OK, as I read on it does specify more for racing. Seemed like it was a fuel mileage/performance thing by adding different resistors to get it to run it's best. Thanks for helping me NOT mess up my ride. It is a daily driver.
