Cam, heads, throttle body/egr spacer, firing order (which I believe includes the computer since it has a roll with the injectors). I'm sure somebody else will chime in with others.

Correct.
The typical 5.0 Crown Vic engine should not be tossed aside and can be used as a suitable core. You are going to dump the stock heads and cam and stuff anyway if you rebuild for performance.

All true...don't forget the bank vs. sequential injection on EEC IV systems and speed density vs. MAF on the same.

if your thinking you can just swap in a FInon H.o into theFI H.O , you are wrong . DO NOT EVEN TRY, me and my dad just went through all that this summer. unless you are going to carb it, ittll be a pain in the ***. the guy we bought our motor off of said it was a roller HO. nope, didnt even bother taken the valve covers off till it ran like ****..... so just in case your thinking of trying it, i would highly advise not..

ic. toying with the idea of building an engine for my stang. the engine ihave in now will stay bone stock for now.how would i be able to tell the difference between a roller vs a non-roller block? im sure the grooving for the valve train is different, but my knowlege with the valve train is limited at best.
