Default Header studs

My buddy has a 94 5.0 and we were puttin on a bbk off road xpipe today and in the process of removing the old h pipe i broke a header bolt that holds the pipe on! This sucks soo bad, so it looks like i have to replace the whole header now! Then we got the bbk xpipe in and we were jus gonna leave it with a exhaust leak untill we got the header but that air pump tube thingy doesnt line up with slot on the x pipe!!! Any help on that one? And if anyone has any stock manifolds theyd like to donate to my dumbass fund! LOL JP

you dont need to replace the header if its just the H pipe flange receptacle that has a bolt stuck in it. use some WD40 and a wrench or vise grips to get it out from the other side.

The header studs are pressed in, they come out, but good luck with that.

werd. mine were just sections of threaded rod so if i ever broke one i could just unscrew it. i would remove the header in your case and pound out the stud and use a bolt+nut.

drill the stud out like I had to with my headers and i just put a nut and bolt on it and it works fine, no leaks.
