Default FRPP Z304 aluminum heads

These new heads from FRPP are said to be the end all for street or racing and nobody has the same idea. Does anyone know anything about these heads and what kind of power jump they could give to a stock 302?

I would guess with a cam you could prolly see a 100 horspower increase mabye and even more with other mods. But i'm not sure. I know my GT40X heads add about 65 horspower to a stock 5.0 I beleave, at least that is what ford claims. Which they might be more of a head you are looking for. that Z304 head seems to be a little radical, and do you plan on smoging this car you would put these on because it wouldnt really work out too great. Good smog legal heads are edelbrock and trick flow.

they would be a waste of $$$ for a stock or near stock..first look at the cc's...64 this will lower you compession about a .25-.5 plus with you stock cam looking at the flow chart the heads have really yet start to work for ya...these would really hurt bottom end ...a stock engine would not benifit much from 2.02 valves
my opinion would be something with a 1.90 valve and 1.72 rockers would help you..

Street head? For a fairly well built motor maybe, but not a daily driver.
