Default Need help w/ 94 Mustang 5.0 conversion

I have a 94 mustang with a great body. Unfortuanetly it has really tall miles on the 3.8L and I want to put in the 5.0. I did some research and found out that I do not have to change the trans out if I go to the 5.0 and I do not have to change the radiator. I already have the wiring harness. All I should need is the the motor and computer correct? Will the A9P computer work for this car? Also, for right now I am just going to get the motor in the car preformance can come later, but if I do look at preformance later, the Trick Flow upper lower intakes with heads looks really good to me. Would that all bolt right on without haveing to strenghten the bottom half of the motor? Any ideas would be really appreciated.

sell the car, and buy something that already has a 302 in it.

this is only true if you have a 5 speed, and you still need a 94-95 5.0 bellhousing

I already have the wiring harness. All I should need is the the motor and computer correct? Will the A9P computer work for this car?
What did you get the wiring harness off of? y ou need the harness and ECU, and NO an A9? will not work.

Also, for right now I am just going to get the motor in the car preformance can come later, but if I do look at preformance later, the Trick Flow upper lower intakes with heads looks really good to me. again, I really think you are going about this the wrong way. Im not doubting your skills or knowledge.. but many people can not handle a swap like this in a timely fashion. You will need all new hoses, both the upper and lower wiring harnesses for the motor, the right starter. If the engine isnt out of a 94-95, you will need ALL of the accesories for the front of the motor, different timing cover, different water pump... etc

I really dont think you quite understand what you are getting yourself into.

Talked to ford master tech he said that even if it is an automatic it would work with the for 302. He also checked on the computers that they had at the ford dealership and they also said that the 3.8L rear wheel drive has the same bellhousing as the 302. The wiring harness is off of a 1995 Ford Mustang GT and it has ALL the wiring that I need. And I have less than 100 dollars in the car so why would I sell it and put up about 5K or more for a GT?? And obviously I will need all the accessories if it isnt from a 94-95 car. And I do know what I am gettin into I have done swaps on the fox body mustangs but never with this year of mustang.

its more than you think buddy, like adder said no offense but about 90% of the people on here cant tell the difference between a left and right handed metric screwdriver.

if you do dive into the project you can feel free to post all your questions and we'll help.....but you're asking for a major task ahead!

IF you have done the swaps before you should be fine. Obviously you'll need engine & all accessories from a 94-95 GT as well as a eec very specific to these two years and to auto/manual trans. You already have the wiring harness and engine. So the rest is a shopping list in the making. After I had EVERYTHING (of course I missed some incidentals) I needed I spent 3 very long days doing a 5.0L/T-5 swap into a '94 3.8L/AODE so if you need some advice give a yell. First thing remove the inner fender liners, ecc and complete eec wiring harness all the way out. Be very careful and do not cut anything, mark, bag, or tag everything.

Will the T4MO computer out of a 95 GT with a 5speed work even though I am going to use a auto trans or do I have to find an ECU out of an auto car?
