ok i have a 92 mustang lx and im redoing the interior completely, all i have left are the seats and the damn dash pad that i cant figureout what to do with it, im sure everyones familiar with the padd on the passengerside rigth above the glove box, well i cant seem to find one black, and i dont really want to have to paint it unless thats my only choice, does anyone know another option to delete the pad and maybe replace it with something else?

you might try having it re-upholstered with some vynil or you can get a replacement on ebay.

your best bet is to use vynil dye and repaint it tho (not normal spray paint)

I agree with not painting it. Paint doesnt flex as well as the dash piece would and then it would end up cracked out. Look on ebay or fiberglass your own version of what it should look like and put a cupholder in it for driveability (i hate it when a 3/4 full can of redbull ends up on my pass seat because it tiped over downshifting)

Paint it with duplicolour vinyl paint, its made for flexible materials like door panels.

Mine isn't craked, so no I am not familiar with the passanger side panel. Just get a new one, and if it isn't black, paint it.

ALL black, evcerything of the interior in mine is. just billet pedals lol

i agree order the vinyl dye and dye it! it will save you money

just get it recovered that way there is no chance the dye comes off. just me.
