Default Need everyone's help on this one....

im looking to get my car setup over the winter for ultimate street driving if that makes any sense. i currently have upr pro series upper and lower fully adjustable control arms in the rear, no quad shocks, lowering springs, spherical bearings and 275 bfg drag radials. the front has c/c plates, lowering springs, sn95 brake setup and thats it. i want the car to be more controlable on the street and not dip and dive on hard corners. im not racing it but i just want it to be tight and respond well to harder driving. the rear suspension hooks up amazing so i cant complain so i assume my front needs some work. were do i start? i was hoping that most of you can take a minute and post your suspension setups in detail. thanks for any help, john

Subframe Connectors!! They make a big difference in the feel of the car...and they are cheap!

I have the full-length UPRs....love them!

i have full sub frame connectors and a 6 point roll cage. the cars body is stiff but i would like to get a firmer ride out of it. i also noticed that the car handles real rough all roads unless the road was just paved. what is the deal with that?

Welcome to the mustang world lol. I think they all ride a little on the rough side. But on a side note it sounds like you do have the body prettie stiff, next think i would look at is the struts or a higher rate spring so it dont dip down on the corners. Your still gonna get a rough ride out of that mabey even worse but will keep your frountend in the air. Also low profile tires make cars ride rougher than normal, my f150 in the sig has stock rims and lt265/75r16 tire rode like a truck should, but in the summer i have some 22' rims and 325/40/r22's and it rides like crap worse than a truck should. But just a idea of y your car rides rough and mabey a quick fix for your frountend dippin in turns.

Mine rides tight!!!! expecially in a straight line and on winding roads... why????? here's why!!!! TUBULAR K-MEMBER, DRAG SHOCKS front and rear tubular a-arms and coil over set up on front, caster/camber plates .., subframes, pinion snubber, upper and lower control arms rear, torque boxes welded upand lastof all and I saved the best for last......Panhard bar.......= no body roll what so ever and she's tight around corners

Mine is perfect, I prefer road a bit more, too because I kill less tires that way.
Get -Anti-swaybars, strut tower brace, adjustable gas shocks/coilovers, and subframes.
