I'm sure the computer is going to adjust to it but I don't in what way exactly.
I think if it's a big enough leak, performance will suffer though. If it's up near the heads, like a gasket leak, I know it can burn valves.
Take it to a regular welding shop instead of a garage....or a garage that doesn't inspect cars.
