Default zex nitrous?

hey i have some questions about the zex wet nitrous kit. i have a stock 1991 5.0 with 150,000 miles on it with just the bolt on parts cai, exhaust, hpipe, 3.73s etc. anyway the zex wet nitrous system, is it any good for a stock 5.0? i was told my car could handle a 100 to 150 shot of nitrous is that true? and if not how much is enough? another question my car is aod and it has a tps switch which automatically sprays when it detects wot will that work with my automatic? thanks seth

the Zex kit is a very good choice... I have seen many people have problems with the microswitch activated kits (dimebag)

I actually have the Zex 82023 kit in my car and I am considering selling if. if you wanna talk to me about it a little more, id be happy to answer your questions. The reason im selling it is because I wont need the extra power when I get my 347 installed.

I am running a ZEX WET system and love it! I have all of the extras which make it that much better. The good thing is that you have to make absolute sure all of your systems are in check, timing, octane, step colder plugs etc. If you follow the rules and make sure everything is running close to 100% you should be fine with 50-150 shot.

Here is an example of what you will need to do via my car:

150,000 mile on the odometer = a worn out, tired, old motor. A 150 shot of nitrous will be the death of it. If you don't have the money to rebuild it now, before the nitrous... then you won't have the money after the nitous and blow it to smithereens.

all nitrous kits are basically the same. all the bottles are the same just different stickers on them, same goes for the soleniods they are made by the same asian company that sells them to the nitrous companies.

sorry man i have to dissagree... i have NOS powershot solenoids, and their much smaller then what i need... they only handle a 125/150 shot... so in that respect their not all the same, they all flow differant amounts...

but basically, yes you are correct... whats differant, and what makes the differance, is the nozzle
