Default exhaust question

i had to put my h pipe with cats back on my car for emissions. Well isntead of taking the h pipe with cats on it off and crud and busting my *** cause my header studs are shot and im lucky i got them on. if after the H pipe with cats i just got rid of the mufflers and got some exhaust tubing and connected my h pipe with cats right to my tail pipes. How would that sound ya think. Would it sound like a big exhaust leak or you think it would sound good? Also would i gain or be losing horsepower or am i better off just putting my old H pipe back on with some 2 chamber flowmasters?

no, im running 2.5 inch pipes, and the cats will give you all the back presure you need to avoid an low rpm deadspot, if you where running 3 inch pipes, id maby be conserned about not having enough back presure

I've been recently running catless H-Pipes with 2 Chamber Flows, and it sounds decent enough. Running Pipes with Cats and no mufflers sound interesting, very interesting...

Just remember, you don't go through emissions just once, so it might be a pain to put the mufflers on just for emissions in 2 years (that's what it is by me). But whatever you want. Wait, you do have to go through emissions again (future), don't you?
