im axious to get this problem taken care of cause it bugs the crap outta me cause every time i get on the freeway i eather have to go to damn fast or to damn slow

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL!! i had this same problem, it was either 75 for me or 90, in between those 2 speeds the vibrations would be really serious. now its mostly gone because i got mounts all over and lubed up my joints..

well the motor would rotate just a little and then the car would twist, so its probably not the motormounts...god i love how my car sounds from outside. with the pipes comming out the side you cant hardly hear the exaust from the inside of the car unless you have the windows down

Yeah my motor mounts are terribly cracked. I noticed this when I bought the car.. So I hear there is a big Torque increase after just installing new motor mounts?? Is this true? I have never had to replace, but mine are beginning to look really bad, and I am going to be adding a lot more power to this engine in the near future. Think it is a good idea to invest in some mounts?? Not trying to steal the thread, just want some feedback on this quick question/comment.

im sure if you are going to be adding alot of power and your motormounts look bad its probably a good idea to change them, the last thing you want is to try to launch at the stip and have your motor come unglued from the chassis. i will be changing mine soon but this weekend im thowing in some new u joints to hopefully fix my vibration problem, prob also new brakes shes squeeking a little

definately invest in new mounts if yours are shot. remember, its not torque that you lost due to sh-tty mounts, its delay of torque deliverance to the wheels that is the downside of crap mounts.

softy mounts will allow the engine to twist in place instead of twisting the driveshaft to turn the wheels. its this delay that can hurt ET's.
