simple electrical question
i just got an electric fan for my '84, and had one question about the wiring. the directions say to tie a wire into a 12-volt key-activated circuit (as close to constant 12-volts as possible to protect the relay).
i thought i had a wire that met the requirements (one of the wires near the AC condenser) and tied into it. but the fuse on the fan blew...
my question is, is there a specific (and preferably easy to reach) wire of the sort i'm looking for that i could tie into in the front passenger side quarter of the engine bay (battery area)? because that is where i mounted the relay to keep the wiring to the fan as clean as possible.
