Okay thanks for the help. I'll put them into play in a night or two. Tonight I'm just too tired to do much more on it. I really appreciate the help. Do you know what a good psi to run is?

For the fuel running into my carb to be at? I have a fuel pressure guage on there and its registering at just under 6 psi.

i RUN MINE AT 5.5 PSIa standard stock mech pump often puts out 6si so I'd say in the neighborhood of 5 to 5.5
