Replacing Water Pump and now leading to many more things!!!
So i noticed after i bought th car(1990 GT) there was a very slow coolant leak out of the bottom of the water pump. I in turn kept driving it and watched the coolant level, well a week or so ago the bearings bit the bullet and the weep turned into a steady stream so i ordered a water pump and figured i should replace the sepentine belt and i needed a new battery. So now i have to buy all new hoses and i noticed my fan was cracked at every blade. I talked to the previous owner(my dad) and he said he had just had a fan put on 2 years ago. Is there anything else anyone can suggest i replace while i am working up front?

I really hate on the newer 5.0's , you run into them stuck and rusted on the shaft, and then, to get the waterpump off, the crank pulley has to come off, and some of the bolts like to snap on you tht run in the passages.
The Fan Clutch does that to the blade, not the fan itself most of the time.
Score at the yard, electric fan ftmfw!

hey if ur that far deep, the timing cover is right there.
dont be a fool like me. mine started leaking 3 months after i did the waterpump!
and if u got time, some knowledge and a bit of cash u could throw a cam in it.
i may be getting a bit greedy though
