RE: Pony learned a new trick!
yea, i had an escort with a Chevy 350 carb. engine in it that i converted to rear wheel drive. Mine wasnt from torque steer tho. i actually had too much brake fluid on the brake pads. it is a common problem among the rear wheel drive cars in america. might want to check it and go from there. LMAO wtf

Check all of your rear control arm bushing when they get worn this can happen. also look at the bolt holes in the lower arms on the car side I have seen them wear oval due to the car having the **** ran out of it all its life at the track. A car I was helping my friend with did this when you mashed it it would steer it self all over the road from the rear.. real strange feeling. We had to weld plates on the frame rails and drill new holes to fix it.

RE: Pony learned a new trick!
I wanted to thank everybody who gave me advice as to what was wrong with my car. It turned out to be a combination of shot bushings on my MAC upper and lower control arms (all of them) as well as a ripped spot weld on the right lower torque box. I am biting the bullet and having battle boxes and UPR's upper and lowers installed. Yeah, she's a money pit but at least she doesn't whine or ask me if she looks fat.
