new oil pan
 
i need a new oil pan and dipstick mine are f*cked.. so im ordering new ones, how can i install the oil pan :( whats easiest... do i have to pull the engine?

Unfortunatly since it is a double sump pan the engine has to come out:(. If you have access to a lift it can be done in one day.

or take the k-member out but i do not suggest that, pull the motor;) get a mac windage try while you are there

DUDE, U DONT NEED TO PULL THE MOTOR! we just unbolted mine and fished it out withouht having to remove anything else ;)

WHAT!!! bobby are you serious...?! :D im interested!!!! r u sure this works?! it looks impossible from underneath there... i have a shop crane and all but i still dont want to pull it!

i would unbolt the motor and trans and lift it up enough to clear the oil pan out without acualy removing the motor, save you quite a bit of time in ****ing with all the wireing and everything

oh ya, we did have to jack up the motor a little bit, but we didnt have to remove the k member

If it were me, I'd pull it put the new oil pan on and along with some front and rear main seals, and yuo'll have a leak free baby.
