Default Cruise control module

Where is the cruise control module located on an 85 Mustang Gt. Other than a fuse, what can cause the cruise control to stop working. Thanks for any help. The cruise did work about a week ago.

on my 92 its under the ds fender, you have to take the fender off to see it. look at ur throttle cable and trace the cruz controll one and see where it goes? if it goes to the fener then there you have it. mine doesnt work ither. haha

If the fuse is good, then I check for a possible vacuum leak from either the hose from the vacuum tree to the speed servo,or the dump valve vacuum hose (it's another vacuum connected to the speed control servo), or it could possible be a bad speed control switch (locatedunder the steering wheel), or possibly thespeed servo actuator cable has come loose (located beside the throttle cable) just hope it isn't the speed servo itself.
Just suggestions !
