Default small block rebiuld

Im getting ready to rebuild my motor to a 347 stroker. My question is how do i know if i need to hone my cylinder walls? I put heads cam and intake on and the pistons looked good didnt look like the cylinder walls were misshaped. But how do i know for sure? Thanks
