Default heating controls

Im having a problem with my heating controls. It is stuck on defrost. Its not stuck like I can move it to any other setting like feet or whatever, but it wont change it will just stay on defrost, and even when I turn it to off it still stays on defrost. The blower level works and the heat and cold climate work fine it just always is stuck on defrost. An ideas?thanks.

check the vacuum supply to the controls. Broken/unhooked line. bad switch in the dash, vacuum canister leaking.

Did it work ok prior to that? Maybe one of the lines was knocked loose. Look around under the hood near the pass side fire wall and see if you find one.

check the vacuum distribution tree. where the brake booster line comes out of. if you look closely, you'll see a litte "A/C" stamped in it. if that line is disconnected it will only blow out the defroster. mine broke there. if not, check the vac lines you can get to under/ to the left of the glove box before you start taking things apart...
hope you find it.
