Like the subject says, i wan't to take the rear seats out of my 95 GT. I don't drive many people around in my car and they have never been used so i want to take them out. Is it hard and how do i do it? I really never looked to see how, raining for the past 3 days here in VA.

two clips for the bottom, and 5-6 bolts to get the back part out.

your interior exhaust noise level is going to increase.. fyi

that easy eh? sounds good. once this rain clears up ill have to do this.

and for the exhaust noise level,

how much do these seats weigh anyway? I heard that there will be a noticible difference in pickup with them out.

there isnt enough of a difference in weight to really justify doing it.

besides... you WANT weight in the back.. you DONT want it in front

So really with taking them out..i'm just gonna hear the exhaust from inside the car alot better? May come in handy with them bumper to bumper type races? haha

If you lost all of your interior panels and knocked the car down to metal frame and a driver seat you would pick up 1 to 2 tenths in the quarter... not enough of a gain to justify riding around with a goofed up hacked up looking car. That the kinda things honda drivers do as a "upgrade" to their quarter mile quest.

haha, yeah your right. I'm just really taking them out because i never drive alot of people in my car, just the passenger seat is used. Take them out and keep them in storage to keep them in good shape..or even sell them. How much can i get for a set of backseats? they are grey and leather of course. Pretty good condition..a little burn from somebody throwing a cigarette out the window inbetween the cracks of the seat[:@]
