hey evryone i have a question how hard is it to put a cobra grille on a 87gt? i like the looks of it but on the gt bumper where the ford emblem is it looks like its all 1 piece so do i ave to cut it or what?

yea, i went through the same thing. you have to cut out the part of the GT bumper and "tape" in the cobra piece. if you look at where the bumper mounts, its right above where you would be cutting, so doing this would weaken the bumper alot allowing it to flex and possibly crack the paint. i asked a few body shops about it and none of them said it would be a good idea so i never did it. I even bought an entire new cobra bumper. They sent me a GT bumper with the cobra insert, this was from 5.0 resto. as far as i know you can't buy a cobra bumper from anyone, you have to do the cutting etc.

its about the same price to just buy a stalker front nose and it has the running horse in it

i think it looks better than the cobra nose
