There is a good amount of smoke coming from under the spark plug boot(drivers side,closest to the windshield).
I noticed a good amount of oil build up,so i used some engine degreaser and waited a few hours before starting it. And the amount of smoke got worse. Any ideas?

pull the wire off and see if its white on the inside.

no it's same color as the outside.
After starting it again it could be from right under the headerbolt area.
It smells like rubber burning but the boots are fine

is the valve cover gasket leaking oil down there?

Put new valve cover gaskets on it, they are leaking..

dont just go ahead and say XXX is the problem. sure its very possible that it could be the valve cover gasket but dont just throw ideas or parts at it without being sure
