Default EGR Valve

My 94' 5.0 isidling rough and my emissions are strong. I'm thinking and looking to replace my EGR Valve. Should I replacethe sensor also?

no you shouldn't just slap parts.....if it's running rough you could have a vaccum leak and or a misfire an egr stuck partially open would cause a rough idle but you can run a koeo/koer test to verify if the computer is picking up a problem if none are indicated by codes then check ignition components like cap rotor and wires and check for vaccum leaks also

Could this possible vacuum leak also be causing my A.C. to only blow out of the Defrost and not the vents in the dash?

Not positive, but yes I believe a vacuum leak will cause the a/c to default to the defrost position.
