210cc heads with 205 valves, what motor to put on
Ihave a 95 gt that iam building a motor for and being an idiotI got 205 valve heads that are 210cc and nowI have different people talling me that they are too big for any kind of 306 or 331, and should build a 347??I wanted to stay away from a 347 causeI hear they use alot of oil??? any ideas or people that have been down this road before??

oil problems are no longer an issue so remove that from your head and you better have one heck of a 347 for those heads or sell them and get something a little more daily driver useable unless you want a monster car that's fine too

i would like to get alot of power out of the car, i was looking a a 331 but again like i was told i cant get any power from these heads if i dont have a 347...so if i do a 347 with these heads am i going to still not have alot of power??

what would be an ideal head for a 331 thats going to make some power? iam also looking at adding a single turbo come spring time when tax returns start coming back??would these heads still be an issue with a 331 with a turbo??or will that give me some good power?

well than i guess the next questions is do you know anyone looking for a good set of heads that have never been used to trade for a non race head??

You can make them work just fine...... get a custom cam for your setup (BTW they are not that big for a 331) and get the "best of both worlds"...... imagine a DD 306 w/210cc heads, SP intake and a 650 cfm carb, making low 11s in the 1/4, all accessories (P/S, A/C, etc) and 20 MPGs ..... EFI?....shouldn't it be better?..... don't sell the heads, get the right cam/valve train combo there......... just a thought.

Ihave a custom cam from lunati thats a 564/576 lift i beleave, custom for a good street camand turbo setup, the heads are alum and have 70cc chambers on them, victor race heads 2.05 and 1.60 valves...i have roller rockers and a bbk ssi intake with a 75mm throttle body and still waiting to get injectors and mass air till i find out what motor to run..

Those heads will let you spin that motor like a top. You won't be dissappointed. With room to grow like these heads have, you will be happy that you have them once you get the turbo. A high reving 331 will love these heads. Run them and thank me later.
