Default lifter fixer stuff...

My friend told me about this stuff you buy that you put in you oil that will fix clogged or bad lifters, does anyone have experience before I try this stuff. The reason why is I have 1 lifter that is clogged with dirt or something, the lifter work then it doesnt its on and off whether it works or not. So i figure I could give it a try? should I?

You really gotta ask yourself; why is the lifter clogged or bad. This could be warning about the rest of the engine...

DO NOT PUT THAT &^$@ IN YOUR CAR

You will lose evry oil seal on the whole engin. If it can break down dirt and sludg how does it know no to break down gaskets. That %$#@ should be taken off the market . Stay away thare is no easy fix . Got to take the engin out and brush out the oil passages . Get the dirt out or your just going to go througt this again.

Take the lifter out, take it apart, clean it, then put it back together. I did it to all 16 of mine. Now there is no noise coming from them.
