Finished fuel pump - New Problem..

RE: Finished fuel pump, engine noise
Performance seems the same, I don't think I'm at the point yet where I needed a larger fuel pump. I just wanted to get it before the tune so that it didn't run the risk of messing it up afterwards. Plus when i get the KB the fuel pump will be all ready. On a positive note, it seems to have fixed my losing fuel pressure problem, time will tell if it fixes the long cranking problem.

This may be a stupid question but.... when you are running a fuel pump larger than what you need where does the extra fuel go?
I have read articles that talk about this with cars that have return lines and they say it actually hurts performance rather than help it do to heating the fuel.

It wasn't run dry at first, the car was running for a while before it finally ran out.
I will say I'm amazed at how quiet this fuel pump is compared to the stock one.

With the 5.0s the extra fuel is returned to the tank. I have heard about the heating the fuel thing but I've never heard of anyone having problems with it.
Sideway, an F16? LOL
Can someone help me out here. Every time MF loads a new ****ing page it logs me out and i have to log back in, and then it just logs me out again right after. What the **** is going on?!?!?![sm=dontgetit.gif]

I have no idea what pump is in my fox, but it sounds like it would feed an F16 without missing a beat.

Yeah definitely should get new seals. I did a new filler neck grommet too, i ripped the F out of mine getting the tank out. Sucks you have to do it again, I did not enjoy it.

God damn ****ing *****!! Just finished installing the Walbro 255 pump. Today I put 10 gallons in the tank and then i noticed gas leaking out all down the tank in a continuous stream. I assume the seal around the sending unit is ****ing leaking like a son of a bitch. Was i supposed to put anything on the god damn seal?
