Default STOCK NUMBERS 1/4 MILE 1986 GT VERT?

my buddy bought a 1986 gt vert and founf in the glove box drag strip tags. his car is way modified now but the tag show in 1992 the car ran like 15.01 at 94mph. Are those close to stock numbers?

WHY ARE THE VERTS MORE HEAVY THAN A NOTCHBACK OR HATCH? i THOUGHT THAT THE VERTS ARE LIGHTER BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE A METAL ROOF

because ford was fourced to exadurate the reinforcement of the rest ofthe body ...remember there was a time when comvertibles werent around..and when they showed back up they were put through some pretty strict guidlines...they used heaver guage steel around alot of renforcement areas to make up for the lack of renforcement that the hard top wouldve provided to make my answer simple

yeah thats kool you found that slip, i found one of my dads old slips dated 1972 and the time was a 12.08 that was in his shelby 66GT350 Factory supercharged but that motor was not in it at that time it was a boss 302 with 12.5 comp pistons and a wicked cam and good heads[sm=gears.gif]
