Default 347 Build...need advice

Well with winter rolling in I've started tearing the engine out of the car. I've been looking at various 347 short blocks and have a couple builders in mind. I'm prepared to make the purchase as soon as I make a decision but I wanted to see what you guys like or dislike first ( Builders, parts, etc). If you guys can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks

i used egales kit. it worked out nice. but i found out the hard way that when using a machine shop/ builder, dont cheap out. you get what you pay for.

If I can swing the money hopefully in the near distant future I'll be having Woddy at ford strokers.com build be a mexican 302 base as my build for a 347...he's a 1 man band and will deal with you personally and he's really down to earth and will tell you how it is!!!and you'll know it's right when it's done...he does each block personally ...he's backed up so it's a 6-8 week wait right now but good things come to those who wait

This is exactly why I make this posting because I'm looking to do this right. So a quality builder is what I'm looking for.

I got mine from woody. Shipped out monday... showed up wednesday.
It took about 5 weeks for it to get built, but he was getting in some new equipment, and finishing off the 5 motors that were ordered before mine.

I checked everything out when my shortblock came in, and it all looked fantastic

Who is Woody and where is he located. What sort of price range will he charge for a quality built shortblock? Is this his web site www.fordstrokers.com
I have a couple of quotes from quality builders that I know that I would like to compare him to.

Yep that's him. He is a great guy. I talked to him for a little while when I was looking for my 331. I decided to go with my engine builder here at home just because I am a loyal customer.
