Default 75-80 drag way

hey guys, dose anyone know if this is right, i heard from a buddy of mine that the 75-80 drag strip is no longer going to be open after this year cose the guy that owns it is old and sick?

I heard that last year was the last season it would be open too... not sure why...someone told me it had to do with ppl complaining about the noise and stuff. But I also heard that he sold the land to a housing developer. Where you from?

We are not to far from eachother, im in Manchester MD like, Westmenster. that sucks if it closes i have neve been to the track and i would like to run my car.
