i bought a set of totally reworked E7 heads with a 5 angle valve job and lots of porting, typhoon intake and 70 mm tb, bbk shorties and a catless x pipe, plus i have my procharger with 9 psi boost. i was thinking about 42# injectors but i wanna see what others think. thanks for all your input in advance.

if you had aftermarket heads you would need some 42's personally i would say 36ers

really depends solely on the HP numbers your making. 36 are fine

i think with 36# youll still need an FMU. with 42 youll be OK, with out the FMU.

I am building something similar, I chose 42#. If you have to buy injectors anyway, the 42# (I paid $200 for new Ford Racing) can be bought for the same price as 30# or 36#, so there is no money savings. From all I have heard the 42# behave very well even if you are lower than max HP for them.

i doubt it. how many lbs of boost u gonna run. a friend of mine has 38#, not much difference, and hes at about 450hp with his sc combo and hes got no fmu.

Has your friends car AFR been checked if so and if its 11.5 to 12 to 1 then ide say its good or perfect.

yes, it has a complete sct tune on it and runs perfect
