Default RE: ..turbo in my future?

well i plan a turbo 302 myself for an rx7 actually- check out moates.net for efi tuning really chepa reliable good stuff
get an ostrich plus the adaptor then you don't have to keep chippign it. the ostich is a eprom emulator btw.

So i was reading around and found this,

http://turbostang.oldwestracing.com/

in his "current setup"

http://turbostang.oldwestracing.com/setup.html

there he says he has factory foged pistons- uh maybe i am missing somthing here- was there ever factory forged pisotns for the 302?

anyhow- i am geting a 302 out of a gt 89. efi i want to run enough psi to push 350 tq. or is it cheaper to not go turbo for this 9 i am avoiding putiing in a new rear end until later. will the stock pistons handle that amount of psi relaiably until i can get forged- or do i want forged pistons like right away? if so where are some good inexpensive forged interals for the 302 with say 9:1 compresion?

you're fine w/ the stock pistons as long as you get a good tune. there were factory forged pistons from 85-92. if possible why not lower the compression to 8.5?
