Its whoever gets closest to the time they saiid they would get .. its called Bracket Racing ,sat your Bracket time and try to get as close as you can to it

Handicapped racing is when you have different starting times. That was a heads up, but I dont get the whole "wait till the camaro goes, then you can go" thing. What's the point of heads up if youre going to do that?

i understand all that but why do they wait sooo long after the BOTH f thier lights turn green then they sit there for like 5 seconds, then they both launch at virtually the same time?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????

Yeah, sometimes they sit there for a few seconds if they want to go for a good ET. If they are not ready when the light goes, they sit there until they are ready, then go. This is because the clock doesn't start when the light turns green, it starts when you cross the line.

I don't think they were both going for a good ET, it looked like they were doing a heads up, but they were letting the guy in the Camaro give the "green flag". You can almost hear the guy saying something like that on there. I don't see the point, what good is a 5 second RT? Either race the tree or don't; if they wanted an old 50's style race they should have turned the tree off and had some chick out there in a skirt with a handkerchief....
