Why are my signal lights my reverse lights?
 

On the car I just bought it is signaling with the inside orange lights on the front, and the white reverse lights on back, What the hell is going on?

Maybe someone mixed up the wiring harness?

Maybe the sockets for the rear are in the wrong spots. The ones on the front are correct.

I assumed you couldn't switch sockets, are they the same?

Not sure off the top off my head. Go out and look. Oh and, is this the fox in your sig you're talking about? What lights up when you're in reverse?

Yes I am talking about the fox in my sig. I am not sure about what lights light up in reverse, I will check tomorrow, since my car is in my 70 year old neihbours garage, and isn't what you would call quiet.
