x pipe = higher flow more euro sound
h pipe= little less that x but a throaty sound

It is better to have some kind of equalizer pipe. X or H it doesn't matter, but anything is better than straight pipes.

prob nothing. i took an 8.8 rear end out of a 86 lx today and it never had a h or x pipe..just super turbo mufflers
