does anyone know how to stop the beeping noise when the doors are open and the key is on in my 85 gt. ive looked all over for the little box thing that makes the noise but i cant seem to find it anywhere. is there any way to get to it without havin to rip my whole dash apart?

Why do you have your door open when your key is in the ignition? Doesn't seem like that should be a frequent situation.[&:]

if you pull the gray wire clip apart out from under the steering wheel column it will stop the beeping and have no effect on the rest of the car

just unplugg sensors in door jambs.

then the light wouldnt come on. just listen for the beep..... trace it out...put out the .44 and start shootin. eventuallythe beep will cease surely.
