The instructions in that link are very accurate. Be sure you have a friend to help pull the old heater core out and put the new one in. All other work, including the dash removal, can be done solo fairly easy.

I just did mine about a week ago. I had my dad come over and it took us about 5 hours including lunch and other breaks. The only problem I ran into was we pulled a little too hard on the dash and the speedometer cable disconnected from the gauge cluster. I pulled the gauge cluster and fixed that yesterday, took about an hour.

it's a royal pain and +1 on needing a friend to help, a 20 pack of some brewski, a free saturday and patience is what you need to plan for

It's not as hard to do as most would lead you to believe, plan on spending a few hrs doing it .

Flat rate is 8 hrs but I can yank mine in less then 1 hr as I've done it many times and reinstallation is a little longer as I take my time....but they are no fun as there are a lot of screws to remove but take your time and all will come out fine

its not that hard, just take your time and label the screws. the very first thing I did to my mustang was change the heater core...
