well then you need to choose a head and intake combo and match a cam to that or choose a cam and match heads and intake to that.......but if you really want a benifit of a cam then heads and intake are a must.......if money is tight look for a set of gt 40 heads and or a cobra intake and a split pattern cam some where around the .500 lift range and you should have a nice street combo then...if done right 260 to 275 hp at the rear wheels
Not to hijack the thread, but I just purchased a set of GT40 heads, and planned on using the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam. I also have a Cobra Intake and will have 2-1/2" off road exhaust with unequal shorties. Do you think I'll reach 260 - 275 with this combo (stock 19lb injectors and MAF,
Stock throttle body)
Properly tuned you may...ADDERmk2 achieved 270+ hp on a cobra motor with it tuned well.. the 19lbs injectors should support that combo okay as they are suppose to be good to about 300 hp max

how about a steeda cam 18 or steeda #19 are good mild cams.
