Default Pypes stainless exhaust system

I tried searching, but the search mode doesn't seem to be working. I'm on a budget, and was looking at Summit Racing's Off Road H-pipe ($109) and cat back exhaust ($178 for 2.5 aluminized pipe and mufflers), I can get this header back systemfor $290 plus shipping. On ebay, I also see the Pypes "Beast" header back stainless exhaust system (with off road X-pipe) for $412 plus $40 shipping. They have a lifetime guarantee?. Has anyone had experience with a Pypes system???

I havent had any experience with the pypes system.. I do have the summit off road h pipe.. It was well worth the $110 dollars. The fitment was great as well as the sound. I coudnt be much more happier, except i just wish i got there x pipe instead.. The x pipe is starting to grow on me and now i want one lol..

That's good to hear. I think I'm going to purchase the Pypes system being that it's all stainless, and it comes complete from the headers back. You can get it with turndowns, or straight ss tips.

By the way 88_LX, how does your car run?. I'm basically going the same route. I'm waiting on my GT40 heads tobe shipped, I have a Cobra intake to install, 4.11 gears to install, shift kit and converter to install. I just haven't decided on a cam. How do you like the B cam?, have you run it at the track?
Thanks

I have the pypes system on my 93GT(x-w/cats,stainless violators and stainless cat-back). Bolted it up to myBBK unequal shorties, fit was pretty good ,needed a little tweaking, but nothing serious.I love the sound and in my case the cats worked, cause I passed emissions. Shipping was quick and you can't beat the price.

I have the Pypes Beast system on my 91 GT. Most people would say its loud, but I think its just right (aka, LOUD!)... I love the sound. However, my system took like 3 weeks to ship from Pypes and the tail pipes fit kinda crappy. "Massaging" will be required for a really nice install, but overall I can't complain for the price. Build quality of the mufflers and X-pipe is outstanding... Nice TIG welds.

Also... I ordered mine through Mustangwarehouse.com and got a better deal than ebay. $379 plus shipping for the system. Total with the Mustang Warehouse "C.A.M." products polished 304 stainless headers (which I also love), including shipping, was $600.43. The headers were $199 shipped I think, so $400 shipped for the system sounds right.
