Default Fox body manual steering rack and pinion

Can I find them in any stock cars at the junk yard, because I really don't want to pay $200 for it.

Used is fine, I'm not to fond of buying stuff over the inter-web.. thanks though. Do you know of any cars which would work in mine?

Ive never driven a fox w/ out power steering, but I have a 85 RX-7(<2500lbs) w/ manual steering, and its no picnic to park. However, I do love how I can really feel the road through the turns. The steering in my mustang feels totaly numb, espically compared to my rx7. I just sucks when your going real slow.

If you get the right ratio for the application it's no big deal. You'll get used to it.

Common ratios are 15:1 and 20:1

a 20:1 ratio should be easier to manuver with than a 15:1.. but I could care less... thats why I went 15:1

$200 ???

Try about $400-500 after you buy all the stuff you need
like new steering shaft, tie rod ends and rack bushings .............

Only time I miss my power steering is in parking lots. Other than that
its really no big deal.
