Yeah I DO......not a computer wiz..I'm still a noob at figuring out all the bells and whistles on this site...slowly but surely I'll get it........no it's no 9 inch this was a 4cyl conversion project and the goal was to use everything fom the donar car and not buy anything ...the donar car was a 85 gt with a 7.5 trac loc...car was rolled and axle housing was bent...so I took the internals out and since the 4 cyl housing was a 7.5 too..I removed the ring gear from the unit as it was a 3.45 ratio and took of the ring gear on the 85 trac unit as it was 2.73 and wha la I had 3.45 gears a some what respectable ratio and posi now!!! works good to .....this whole project was just a see what I could do for little or no expense

no the 85 gt is...which is engineless right now as you know.....the 92 was just a see how good I could do with little to no investment...when all was said and done I had 300.00 invested in the conversion after I sold what I could off the donor car that I didn't need..and to my amazement the car has run a best of 13.69 @99 mph not bad for the little I have invested in it

if your on a tight budget, get a 5.0 lx, and your going to need at least 3k in modifications on the engine in PREPARATION for the turbo not to mention the turbo it self

hell if i had a 93 cobra i'd put a turbo on it, that car would be sick as hell. and age doesent matter it's driving ability. When i was 12 i was in supercart leagues goin 90 mph. the first time i dragged at the track i was 14 and no permit. as long as he controls himself and learns his car well before he tries to be a badass he should be cool, and being 16 with a 93 cobra sounds better than being 16 with a tuner car anyday
86 thank you for actually leaving a comment that benefits

haha MJR... you suck at quotes

3.45's, its probably a 9"
i think the closest you can get to 3.45's w/ a 9" is a 3.50 isn't it?

edit... i stand corrected. i found this site and i guess you can get a lot more ratios than i thought [>:]
