heat problem inside the car

Default heat problem inside the car

well after driving my 95 gt for a 30 minutes a feel a heat come from under the car my father said its from the t5 swap it was an auto tranny before what can i do.please help.

It could be your cats getting hot. Heat under your car is normal unless its getting super hot then you might have clogged cats. The T-5 conversion has nothing to do with heat.

i use to depend on this last year in the winter when i didnt have a heater core. haha works quite well.

when my hands got cold i'd stick them down inside my center console... it was always nice and toasty in there

did you seal up the shifter area properly so exhaust heat doesn't come up through there???

I was having the same problem with my car as well. I removed the shifter trim and saw the trim ring that seals the holt for the shifter only had 1 bollt in it and it was loose. I removed my center console and got some sheetmetal screws and screwed it down at 6 points one each corner and one in the middle along the sides. My car is staying alot cooler and I do not have the exhaust smell in by car as bad.
Now I need to fix the exhaust leak at the headers and the H pipe.
