Look what i did now now *pics
I was pullin out the damn viper alarm system that was in my car b/c it hasnt worked for a long time and i figured it was worth a penny or 2 on ebay. When i took it out, the original ignition wire was split in 2 and was spliced into the alarm system. I hooked it back up to itself so that the vehicle would run properly. Ok so here is where it gets crazy. when i turn the key to the on position, my fan automatically kicks in and my cluster rpm gauge goes up to 4000. I cant start the car but the starter is working properly. Wtf did i not connect?? This doesnt even make sense. I cant figure out if this black piece in the pictures below is a part of the car or if it is a part of the alarm system. Someone help me out!

That black box is the starter kill relay, it looks like you may have pulled one of the ignition wires out of the harness that plugs into the ignition switch at the back of the key. More pics and i can see better.

Isnt that box a part of the alarm system though? I connected the ignition wires back up and the starter works. I just dont know what is causing it to think that its at 4000 rpm and turn the fan on

that pic right there shows where you screwed up... take that green wire off, and fix that white whire thats cut in half

On that first picture, that black wire that looks like it is infront of the brake you should ground that. It sounds like you have a bad ground which would cause your dash to go all crazy atleast.

dudes, i'm just gonna have triple A tow my baby over to an electronic's shop around here and let them play with it for an hour's labor. I do not believe in paying people for labor but DAMN i hate electronics. Thanks for tryin to help guys
