150 shot should be fairly safe.

Well i could be more specific. Scat 9000 iron crank forged I-beam's Keith Black forged pistons, app 10.3cr stock block 2 bolt mains, clevite main and rod bearings ARP cap bolts and main bolts.

mjr46 i was thinking the same but just thought i would see if anyone had experience..

100 to be safe safe... 150 will be fine... main concern was what kind of pistons you were running

Know a guy with a 347 that shot a 200 shot consistent but he was mostly racing. If you plan on staying together don't get over a 175 shot.

I ran a 100 shot which seems to be a safe bet...although with my 347 in build right now I may back it down to a 75 shot to keep the car in the low 11 sec range
