Default Vacuum Leak Nightmare

I have an 83.. 5.0 (original owner) I have vacuum leak somewhere and it's aggrivating [:@]
The car loses power on first and sometimes on second gear (manual BTW) Sometimes it dies in first if you don't give it enough gas to counter the problem... IT'S EATING GAS THOUGH LIKE CRAZY.. and with the prices on gas it's horrible.
I know of a few things to do but wanted to see if anyone might have a pin pointed place to look before i start plugging everything up and do a reverse diagnosis...
HELP! *Thanks*

Default RE: Vacuum Leak Nightmare

reverse diagnosis??? why waste all that time...find a shop with a smoke machine and find your vaccum leak if one exists in less than a minute
